- 1 SHALLOT
- 1 CLOVE GARLIC
- 2 TOMATOES
- FLEUR DE SEL
- 1 TSP. SUGAR
- 30 G WHITE VINEGAR
Where is eaten fried or a burger is prepared, the perfect accompaniment is the ketchup.
This is a very popular sauce from tomatoes , vinegar and sugar.
There are many ways to make homemade ketchup. We propose a technique both easy and quick.
Here are 3 steps to follow:
Chop shallots and garlic. Sweat
the pieces in a pan over low heat.
Mondez and cut 2 tomatoes. Add the tomato pieces in the pan. Also add 1 teaspoon of sugar, 30 grams of white vinegar, sea salt and a dash of tabasco.
Make simmer for 15 minutes. When
you get a nice red color, mix preparation with a mixer. Pour your ketchup in a bowl.
Our Tip: You can make
variations on the recipe by adding spices ( Espelette peppers , curry ,
paprika) or herbs (thyme, basil, rosemary).
